About Justin D. Earhart

Started in Illinois learning Kung Fu(Moline, IL) and Kenpo(Sterling/Rock Falls,IL). Through my Kenpo instructors I learned some Jiu-Jitsu, Kali, Muay Thai and whatever else I could(pre-UFC,MMA). The whole time taking notes from my friends who studied Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do and Kuk Sool Won. US Air Force was a bit frustrating, constantly on the move. Learning about Shiao Chiao and Kung Fu in Warner Robins, Georgia. There is where I came across San Shou/Sanda and loved it. Eventually I settled for a bit in Georgia and worked with a system called Siam Gung Fu, a mix of JKD,Wing Chun,Kali,Silat,Muay Thai. After the Air Force came university. Then to Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. Shotokan, Kuk Sool Won, TKD were on the menu but they never seemed to fit. Then I found a teacher of Wing Chun and Jiu-Jitsu. I wish they had a degree in martial arts I could have worked on! Back home after school and both schools I had learned from had closed down. Off to Michigan for a new job.. Hapkido and Shaolin Kempo in Lansing, MI....Now in Farmington, Michigan and work keeps me very busy. With a lot of hours being put in at work it is hard to find anyone who can teach around my schedule. Things now are work, eat, sleep....and whatever time I have left is martial arts! My dream is to find a teacher whom I can learn from that will allow me to pass on their teaching. I am tired of constantly having to learn new curriculum and start over again. My black belts came from Siam Gung fu and Kempo.
