No More San Soo at H.F.C.C.

Well I have some good and disapointing news to share. I have officially ended my 8 year realtionship with Henry Ford Comm. College. Unfortunatley S.A.M.A. and the new head bean counters just sould not come to term on a new contract. That is all I am going to say on that front. Everything appears a bit Shakey for the future of San Soo here in Michigan with this news and the imminant departure of Jeff for warmer climates(gonna miss ya Jiffee). So I hope that I can put some rumors to rest as far as the fuutre is concerned.

I am still teaching here and plan on as long as people show up,this art is my life and I hope to be able to pass on the gift that Chuck and Bart and others gave me. I am not mvoing in the immediate future, i still have a year to go in school and then the Acadamy after that. So you are stuck with me.

We will be finishing off this last semester of Sat. as HFCC, but other than that all classes will be held at the Dungeon(JAX). All that times will be the same and mostly things will remain unchanged, however there is one issue.

Due to the decrease in space I am only accepting seriously dedicated students,I am not attempting to be an elitist or anything this is simply a matter of space and what I feel is a lack of commitment on behalf of some previous students. I want to thank everyone one of my students who have been on this journey with me and commend on their discipline and strength and most of all their friendship. While this may be the end of the road for some I hope that this is in fact a new begining for all of us as we tread in the footsteps of the honorable men that have come before us.

San Soo can and will change your life for the better however the path is often wrought with peril and sacrifice some very minor bruising, comfort, frustration while others realtionship, well being, going nuts LOL,are major concerns. However as stated your life will never be the same after you become involved with this Art, but remember you will only get out what you put in. I hope to continue teaching here until my path takes me elsewhere, so if you are willing and able go...go get suited up and leave your ego at the door.

    Your Friend,

    H.

Re: No More San Soo at H.F.C.C.

San Soo Michigan will continue with Jeff Jr and a surprise instructor [don't know do you?] that will assist with the class.  I am relocating but the school will continue.  In fact just sign up two new students and two loss souls; Jason and Patty welcome aboard; David and Brian welcome back.  The kids class I am not sure about for I cannot find anyone who will take the task on.  The kids are much easier to teach than most grown ups.  So please do not panic the public yet we are going forth into the future.  Right now the Tues and Thurs calsses are packed so there is not more room for any one until Sat morning class.  This goes out to all the black belts who are certified instructors of San Soo, if interested in the kids class please sen a private e-mail to jujiffsoo@yahoo.com or jujiffsoo@sansoomichigan.com.  As I plan I will send the instructors videos of lesson that will need to take each belt to the next step for I am currnetly working on them now.  With all the notes, Zpictures and videos I have written or taken is in my library not to mention everything I have from all over the San Soo community, Master Ron Bilow a major factor with some of the videos he has sent to me so far.  I will continue my training under Chuck until he retires or the fact I cannot no longer continue.

The transition will be a smooth one for Jeff Jr has taken over some of the teachihng duties under my watchfull eye.  Once I have relocated to North Carolina and settle in I will start a club for Saturdays until I can find a perminent home for the school.  I will be here for another 6 months or so and I will continue the kids class on Mon and Wed the adults on Tue, Thu and Sat.
