There is a pretty cool thread going on the brownbelt 1111111 site about the laws that pertain to a martial artist and the responsiblity they carry with them as a black belt getting into an altercation. Most courts views us as weapons......................... Fact or Fiction do you have to register with the state once you become a blackbelt. They say of the courts once you reached the level of black belt your are an expert. How can that be even some of the best master out there are still learning. The belt repsresents your stage training and nothing else. So I guess when you receive your masters in education you have to register as a deadly weapon. But yet these master go on to phd's. Than even further for they are contuing their education to improve their craft, why not the martial artist who trains for enlightenment?
